Configuration Issue

The most common portal issue reported by users is the "configuration issue" error message:

This means that the information in your My��ͷ��app Login Account does not match information in the My��ͷ��app Portal. There are several possible reasons for this:

You are a new student who has just applied.�� It can take up to 15 minutes for your My��ͷ��app portal account to be created.�� Resolution: wait 15 minutes and try again to access the portal.

You are a returning student or alumni: If you've been away from ��ͷ��app for over 1 year, it is likely that you do not have an active portal account.�� We do offer a range of self-service options outside the My��ͷ��app portal including transcript services which can be found by clicking the .

If you are looking for course registration, you will first need to reapply: ��|��|��

You are an employee.�� Your portal account has outdated or incorrect information. Resolution: send a detailed message, including your employee ID, to the webmaster@vcccd.edu

If you are having a problem with your username or password/password reset, students should contact the welcome center at their campus ( | | ) for assistance.�� Employees should contact the DAC I.T. Helpdesk.

Can't find something in the portal?�� Check out the Search feature which allows you to search the entire portal for any link or content to which you have access:

NOTE: the portal search also returns results for important student services resources outside the portal. For example, if you were looking for information about admissions, typing that into the search bar would present you with a list of items both inside and outside the portal. In this example, clicking on a search result labeled as "External Document" would take you directly to the Admissions & Records Dept. website at Moorpark College:

Page does not exist error:�� If you encounter the following error page when first logging in to the portal, this means you are trying to access a page/tab that no longer exists. This is likely due to a saved bookmark pointing to a resource from the old portal. Please update your browser bookmark(s) (, , , ) :

No content within Tool/Page categories:�� If you click on a tool or page category (Example: Registration & Payments) but no content or links are visible within that category, most likely your portal session has timed out.�� Simply click the browser Reload/Refresh button.

Shortcuts: to create a shortcut, click the "View all" link, open up the category where the tool/page resides, and then click the star icon:

User Privacy Settings: All user accounts in the My��ͷ��app portal use the most restrictive privacy settings.�� This means that by default, nobody will be able to search for you, connect to you, see your profile information or interact with you in any way. You can opt-in to these by changing the privacy settings within your account settings:

Dark Mode: The portal has a Dark Mode that can be enabled under the user profile:

Dashboard Widgets: Widgets cannot be removed from your portal dashboard but if you wish to hide the data displayed in a particular widget, you can click the open/close toggle:

Microsoft Office 365 Account (For Employees): Connect the M365 widget to your employee email account.�� This does not affect any other connections you've made to your employee email, including your phone.�� This only adds a widget view in the portal for your most recent email messages & files. �� Simply click the "Connect Account" button:

Events Calendar Subscription: By default, your portal calendar is automatically subscribed to events District-wide, at Moorpark College, at Oxnard College & at Ventura College. You can "opt-out" of event subscriptions by clicking the Events filter icon and de-selecting the check boxes for events you do not want included in your calendar.
