Registered Apprenticeships
A registered apprenticeship involves full-time employment with a set educational path.聽For every year that an individual is in聽a registered apprenticeship program, they are required to work 2,000 hours and participate in 144 hours of formal education. The formal education can occur at your local community college or adult school.
There are over 3,000 federally approved occupations for registered apprenticeships and they all may聽be set up for incumbent workers already with your company聽or for new, entry-level trainees.
